Can’t decide between a Dessert or a Smoothie? Then try my delicious dessert smoothie, full of Strawberries which are great as they are low-GI, low sugar and high in antioxidants.
Choc Bottom Banana Berry Dessert Smoothie
Time 10 mins | Serves 1
- 1/4 cup chopped Dark Chocolate
- 1 tbsp Boiling Water
- 1 cup chopped Strawberries
- 1/2 cup chopped Frozen Banana
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk
- grated Chocolate, chopped Strawberries and Cinnamon for the top
Start by adding the Chocolate and Water into a bowl, leave to sit for a couple of minutes then stir till smooth. Transfer this mixture to the serving glass and leave in the freezer. Next to make the smoothie add the Strawberries, Banana, Cinnamon and Almond Milk to a blender and blend till smooth.
To put it together, take the glass out of the freezer and pour the smoothie mixture over the top of the chocolate. Top with grated Chocolate, chopped Strawberries and some Cinnamon.
