The best use of leftover Cake is to turn it into another tasty dessert!
Time 30 mins | Makes 20
- 3 cups Cake Crumbs (or any other baked good will do here, just break it up into crumbs)
- 1/2 cup Fruit Compote (or Jam)
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 cup Chopped Nuts/Dried Fruit (any mix-in you like is fine)
- 270g Dark Chocolate
Start by blending the Cake Crumbs, Fruit Compote, Cinnamon and Nutmeg into a paste. Next add in the Mix-Ins and combine. Divide the mixture into around 20 balls and place in the freezer for 20 mins to set.
Whilst those set, melt the chocolate and dip the set Truffles into it, you can coat them with some coconut or anything else if you like.
