Discover the magic of Aquafaba! This amazing chickpea liquid can be used to make a variety of amazing things including this chocolate mousse! A light and airy mousse flavoured with the goodness of spices that can be enjoyed regularly.
Light & Spicy Chocolate Mousse
Time 30 mins | Serves 4 – 8
- 2/3 cup Aquafaba (liquid from 1 can of chickpeas)
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Cardamon Powder
Start by melting the chocolate over simmering water. Once melted stir in the Vanilla and spices and allow to cool.
Meanwhile beat the Aquafaba (in a mixer with a whisk head attached) until stiff peaks form. Next fold in the Chocolate mixture with a spatula. Now serve the mousse into glasses and leave in the fridge to set.
