A delicious Nut Butter for when you want a slightly sweeter but still healthy spread!
Caramel Nut Butter
Time 8 mins | Makes 2 Cups
- 2 cups Pecan Nuts
- 1/3 cup Maple or Coconut Syrup
- 2 tbsp melted Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch Salt
- 2 tbsp hot Water
Start by toasting the nuts briefly in a pan over medium heat, then add the syrup and cook for 3 – 4 mins till bubbling. Pour this mixture into a blender along with the rest of the ingredients and blend till smooth.
Store in a glass jar in the fridge, it will keep for 1 – 2 weeks.
