Chai Latte

A lower sugar vegan version of a another favourite cafe drink!

Chai Latte
Time 10 mins | Serves 2

  • 2 cups Almond Milk
  • 2 Tea Bags (black or chai tea, or 1 of each)
  • 1 tbsp Coconut or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
  • 1/4 – 1/3 tsp Nutmeg
  • pinch Cardamom
  • pinch Pepper


Start by heating the milk in a pan until starting to boil, then remove from the heat and add the tea bags and steep for 5 mins. Next remove the tea bags and stir in the remainder of the ingredients. Put the mixture into a blender and blend briefly to achieve a frothy texture.

To serve, simply pour into mugs and top with whipped coconut cream and some cinnamon/nutmeg if desired.
