Chickpea & Banana Blondies

Another way to use chickpeas to create a dessert, a vegan twist on a classic that is full of healthy goodness.

Chickpea & Banana Blondies
Time 40 mins | Makes 12 – 16

  • 2 cups cooked Chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup Nut Butter
  • 2 med Ripe Bananas
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Maca Powder
  • 1/3 cup Oats
  • 1 cup chopped Dark Chocolate


First preheat the oven to 180ยฐC.

Start by blending together all the ingredients except for the chocolate. Once blended then fold in half of the chocolate. Spread the mixture into a tin lined with baking paper and top with the remaining chocolate, pressing it lightly into the mixture.

Bake for 20 – 25 mins. Once cooked, leave to cool for 10 mins before cutting into squares.
