McDonalds Style Oreo McFlurry & Oreo Cookies

A Mcdonalds Style Oreo McFlurry & Oreo Cookies! Oreos may be Vegan but they are still processed food & high in sugar – as are McFlurries. These are a healthier, lower sugar version with more wholesome ingredients. Also very quick and easy to make! So skip Mcdonalds or Coles or Woolies and make them yourself!

Soft Serve Icecream

Ingredients

  • 1 can coconut cream
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tb vanilla extract

Method

Mix ingredients together till smooth, then churn in an ice cream maker till soft serve consistency (approx 15 – 18mins).

(Or place mixture in freezer till very cold, then beat, cool, and beat again – but will not have the same texture as made in ice cream maker. Alternatively you can use your favourite store bought Vegan vanilla ice cream.)

Oreo Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup cornflour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/8 cup melted coconut oil

Method

Mix ingredients together to form a thick dough and roll into 18 small balls. Flatten them and place them on trays lined with baking paper. Bake for 180°C for 5-7mins.

Cool, crush and use to put on top of soft serve ice cream to create Oreo McFlurries. Or, sandwich them together with filling to make Oreo Cookies.

Oreo Biscuit Filling

Use the hard part of 1 can coconut cream – whip cream till firm, adding maple syrup and vanilla to taste. You can thicken the cream with a little cornflour if need be. Use this filling to sandwich the biscuits together (store in fridge).
